Part Time/Summer Position: Youth Summer Stock Producer
Cheyenne Little Theatre is preparing for the summer! We are looking for a Producer for our Youth Summer Stock Program. This position is responsible for the Pre & Post-Planning and Administration of the program. Producer plans and leads all sessions, including two 1 week sessions (sessions 1A and 1B) and one 3 week session (session 2) for a total of approximately 300 hours. Session 1A runs from June 12th-17th, Session 1B runs from June 19th-June 24th, and Session 2 is June 26th-July 16th. Selected Candidate can begin pre-planning and recruitment of staff immediately. YSS Producer Duties
-Create, distribute, and track Registration/ Scholarship Form
-Hiring staff
-Responsible for making sure the emergency medical forms are updated annually and approved by the YSS committee. (By May 1).
-Responsible for keeping track of all YSS paperwork and forms
-Notify parents of parent meeting date and time and coordinate parent meeting.
-Make sure staff have signed correct paperwork before the start of YSS and in time to run background checks
- Responsible for making sure the emergency medical forms are signed by parents and guardians prior to any student participating in either any YSS Session.(due by beginning of first day of each session.)
-Responsible for making sure the Release and indemnification forms are updated annually and approved by the YSS Committee. (by May 1st)

-Responsibile for making sure all first aid kits are stocked according to the standard first aid checklist for the shop and green room prior to the first day of Session 1.
-Return rented materials to MTI or other vendors.
-Return materials not needed that need to be returned to merchants.
Forms to update create, file and maintain (All forms should be filed in alphabetical order): Most of the YSS forms and reports can be found on Google Doc. New YSS Producer will be given access to these files. No producer is allowed to copy these reports, forms or documents for non-CLTP use.
-Registration Forms: should be updated with correct date, time, play titles, etc annually, photocopied for the lobby at the Godfrey, sent out in Vendini mail list announcement and posted in PDF format on the CLTP website by January 5 annually unless otherwise determined by programming Committee and or the YSS Committee.
-Release and Indemnification forms are needed for each child by the beginning of the first day of each session. Students who have not turned in these forms cannot participate in YSS classes or rehearsals until a parent or guardian comes to sign them due to liabilities.
-Scholarship Forms: should be updated with correct date, time, play titles, etc annually, photocopied for the lobby at the Godfrey, sent out in Vendini mail list announcement and posted in PDF format on the CLTP website by January 5 annually unless otherwise determined by programming Committee and or the YSS Committee.
-Staff Evaluation Forms: New policy, effective as of 2017 is recommended. These need to be filled out by staff in order for them to receive their final checks. In 2015 we bought the staff pizza at lunch on the final Thursday and asked them to do it. This seemed to work well.
-Student and Parent Evaluation Forms: Students should be given these form on the final Wednesday of Camp and asked to return them by strike. The Producer should make a point to communicate to students and parents how important this data is to receiving grants and to continue to better our program.
-Audition Forms: these forms need to be updates and may need to be changed if the director requests it. (Discuss with the directors in pre-production meetings how the auditions will be handled.
-Attendance Forms for every day of camp (Producer is responsible for being present during sign in and out periods unless the staff has been previously told they will be absent and a staff member assigned to this duty.)
-Responsible for any order forms and payments associated with camp out of camp funds (e.g. t-shirts, makeup kits)
-Responsible for organizing volunteers with regards to YSS.
-The Producer Report: Due by August 1st annually. This is a full description of all aspects of the summer sessions 1 and 2. This report will be used by grant and CLTP administration. Examples of previous Producer reports will be provided to new producers.
Other duties as assigned
